The book of Exodus is filled with the word "tabernacle." It is used in various references, mostly for the tent that was designed to be carried in the desert. All the instructions for the building of the tabernacle and the use of it were very specific. The tabernacle was of utmost importance to God because it described the dwelling place of God among His people. But it also represents so much more than that, especially for us today and in to the future.

God has taken the Hebrew nation as slaves out of Egypt and they are headed to a place called the "Promised Land," a destination "flowing with milk and honey." Holy Week - the time when Christians remember the events around the crucifiction and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Have you ever stopped to wonder about the incredible thought that the creator of the universe, the King of kings, came to earth. He did not use His position as proud and snobby royalty, demanding we come to Him. Jesus did all the work first and came to earth. Pr. Nathanael looks at the events of Holy Week in the light of Palm Sunday. Matthew 21:1-11

The laws given to the Hebrew nation in Exodus helped guide their actions and interactions with each other. So what effect do these laws of the past have today in the context of the Gospel? In the New Testament, Jesus said that all the law and prophets hang on two commandments to love. So love is very important, but it is a common word. In the previous message, "love" was defined according to Scripture and how to love God. How do we love each other and our neighbor as ourself? Pr. Nathanael Fawcett looks at 5 principles to help us follow the 2nd of the Great Commandment. Matthew 22:35-40

For meaningful communication to take place, it is important that we understand what words and phrases mean. In Exodus, God gives a "ton" of laws for the Israelites to follow. How do they apply to us today? Does the New Testament discart them as unnecessary? Does Jesus abolish or change them? The Pharisees try to trap Him with heracy in asking which of the many laws is most important. Jesus´ reply gives us some insight into the mind of God. It is called The Great Commandment - "Love the Lord your God..." To understand it and make an application for today, it is necessary to define what Jesus means with these words. How do we love God? A man can say he loves his wife and he also loves pizza. What do we mean when we say we love God? What does God mean when He says He loves us? What does it mean to say "God is love?" What is "love"? Pr. Nathanael continues a look at the laws of the Old Testament and how they fit into the life of the Christian today. Matthew 22:34-40
